Info - Daniel Marchi

Daniel Marchi

Daniel Marchi was born in Milan in 1948, but moved to France, where he attended the school of fine arts in Paris and the faculty of architecture. The latter was soon abandoned because it was too "scientific and rigorous" for an esprit libre like him. In the late 1970s, he moved to California in search of a new world and a new way to make art, and where he spent 14 years developing the definitive transition from figurative to abstract art. He returned to France, where, like many great artists of the past, he settled in the countryside near Saint-Tropez. Seeking the light of the south, he finds his personal style in his paintings. There are many personal exhibitions around the world, until that of 2005 in China where he achieves great personal success and where he also finally finds love!
