About Budel
Budel is a village in the wooded municipality of Cranendonck, in the Dutch province of North Brabant located between Eindhoven and Weert. The Belgian municipality of Hamont-Achel is a few kilometres from Budel as is the A2 motorway. Central in the village is the alderman's house from 1772. The village also features 3 mills. You can also visit the Kempen Airport. There is also a smuggling museum. Dorplein has a Walloon feel to it as brothers Emile and Lucien Dor set up a zinc factory here. There are many opportunities for walking and cycling, there is a camper village and several B&Bs.
